Anonymous messaging should be fun. We build NGL so it stays that way — here’s how we keep the community safe and what you can do if something goes wrong.
How we moderate
- Automated filtering scans every incoming message and blocks slurs, threats, and other clearly-abusive content before it’s delivered.
- Reporting: recipients can report any message from the inbox. Reports are reviewed and actioned.
- Blocking & hidden words: you control your own inbox — hide messages, block senders, and filter words you never want to see.
- Pause your link any time to stop receiving messages.
Tips for staying safe
- Never share personal information you wouldn’t post publicly.
- Remember you can ignore, hide, or report any message.
- If a message makes you feel unsafe, take a screenshot and report it.
